So here is what the garden looks like this July morning! It's beginning to really produce and the plants are getting quite big.
Aha, here is a sugar pie pumpkin all set and ready to ripen, sweet thing!
Here's a crooked neck squash. This is one of two species of yellow squashes I'm growing this year.
Oh dear, more blueberries. They go on forever!
A total view of the garden as seen from the blueberry patch.
This is the tomatoes view of his friends.
In the middle of my garden is this patch of flowers. All paths lead to this center point of cosmos and marigolds.
More pie cherries. I canned several quart again yesterday. They are delicious as pie filling. Don't even think of using the normal cherry for filling. It cant even come close to this sour little thing!
The cabbages are setting nice tight heads!
This is a slicing cucumber.
This is the days harvest.
Here are two different kinds of basil waiting to be dried.
And that my dear readers wraps up this weeks garden blog. So how is your garden doing?

Looking good, MrsD! ☺
I have lost most of my garden to the unseasonal wet but I will replant in another month for an early summer crop ~ I hope!
Very lovely! I need to dry my basil and thyme soon!!
Mrs. Darling, it is gorgeous, just gorgeous. What a beautiful garden!
Mine is nearly all dead. *Sigh* Even the garden refuses to flourish in this miserable heat. :-(
Oh!! It all looks so wonderful---it has been so wet here, even my flowers are drowning---so I will lovingly gaze at your produce!!
The color on those cherries is gorgeous!
Blessings!
Beautiful! I think I'd have a park bench right in the middle and I'd just stay there with a book. Oh! Wait! Nothing else would get done so maybe I wouldn't..... ;o)
Beautiful! Wow, your harvest was picture perfect!
Oh, yum! I can actually smell basil when reading your post/seeing your pictures.
Following up: My Dh is going to be a SAHD for the next year, now that his time in the Coast Guard is complete. After one year of decompressing, re-engaging with the family, he'll pursue more education with his GI Bill. This is initiated by him because he saw such a difference between what the kids were taught in Alaska being homeschooled to what they were being taught in our community's costly private school.
Now I'm off to go oogle your garden pictures again!
Simply beautiful!! My garden is not nearly as far along as yours, but hopefully will look like yours soon!
I love your garden centerpiece. What fun.
Here is what I'm dealing with this year. http://alittleginger.blogspot.com/2009/07/all-her-paths-are-peace.html
That looks great! All the hard work paying off. Yum!
My garden is going well! I just run out down the road to the grocery store anytime I need something! Ha ha!
Seriously, yours is looking great! We are gone so much over the summer that I couldn't keep up with all of the work that a garden requires!
